SDCC staff members has extensive experience in the planning and implementing Lifelong Learning Program projects such as Grundtvig Learning partnerships and Leonardo da Vinci mobility projects.
One of the most successful trainings was "Conflict and stress management in the face of economic crisis".
SDCC actively participated and collaborated in two Leonardo da Vinci mobility projects: "POTENCIAL. Professional orientation tendencies in consulting youth with special needs", No. LLP-LdV-VETPRO-2010-LT-0477 (2010-2011) and "PROVINSE. Professional orientation and consultation in new social – economical environment" (2009 - 2010).

Final Event of IPPA - Transnational Conference

Final project meeting were organized 15-21 of May, 2010 in Reykjavik, Iceland.

Project coordinator Ms. Jurgita Kadagiene, announced about final result of the project – e-journal, it’s importance for better dissemination of Peace in European society. Participants were presented with IPPA project activities, improved web page (with additional project documents, IPPA photo galleries in Picasa) and other results of the project.

Project partners presented essays of Competition’s winners (from their countries). Lithuanian winner Giedre Šliogeryte personally read her essay “Is there any place on earth for peace?”. All winners were awarded Certificates and remembering gifts.

Participants discussed about these topics: 

  • Global security and Peace,
  • Promotion and protection of human rights,
  • Experience of immigrant children living in Iceland,
  • Immigrants in Iceland. Immigrants and Peace
Partners presented the specific situation of migrant women, focusing on their employability, education, knowledge’s needs, on their participation in the labour market a lifelong learning initiatives.
Partners held presentations of partner organizations, shared responsibilities and signed “Partnership agreement”.
